The Malaysian Students' Council of Australia, known as MASCA, is a one-stop-centre for everything Malaysian in Australia, run by students for students. We are driven by a team of highly enthusiastic students aspiring to build a united Malaysia community while forging close relations to the Australia community. Found in 2001, MASCA is established across 6 states and 1 territory.
Being the peak representative body for Malaysians in Australia, MASCA is recognised by the Malaysian Government through Education Malaysia Australia (EMA) and also regulated by the New South Wales Government under the Fair Trading Law.

Victoria State Chapter
MASCA Victoria State Chapter is one of MASCA's established state chapters. We are neither a club nor a society, but a council. Based in Melbourne, Australia, the Council consists of elected representatives of the 8,600-strong Malaysian student community in southeastern state of Victoria in Australia.
MASCA Victoria was formed to represent and serve the interests and welfare of the Malaysian student community specifically in Victoria, Australia. We act as the umbrella body towards 10 Malaysian Students Organisations (MSOs) here in Victoria.
MASCA Victoria is an incubator of remarkable, exciting & scaling ideas. Through the 5 arms, we pool the necessary resources and direct them to student-initiated projects, be it about career, intellectual, sports, community service or culture. We also organise national-level-projects in concert with MASCA National and our state counterparts.
MASCA Victoria is also a networking platform for like-minded student leaders not only from Malaysia but also different nationalities. We have initiated the ASEAN Agenda to unite and lead a strong and cohesive ASEAN student community.
