Here's what it's about:
9 sports
10 ASEAN countries

Invitations have been extended to not only all the universities in Melbourne and its surrounding regions (that's right, that's ALL the ASEAN students in Victoria), but also to every other university in Australia. This is it - persons from any of Laos, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore, Indonesia, Phillipines, Myanmar, Brunei and Thailand will be flying in from Sydney, Adelaide, etc. just to participate in this 3-day event, not to mention those already in Melbourne.

Getting a feel for the scale of it?

Register NOW and don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to meet new people, get involved in this community and strengthen the ties between the ASEAN countries.

It's time to embrace diversity. It's time to celebrate victory.

2) Aspirasi Rakyat Malaysia (2nd Roundtable Discussion - Education)

Event Details:
Date: 16th August, 2014 (Saturday)
Time: 1.30pm - 4.30pm
Venue: Multicultural Hub

Many have claimed that "the standard of our education has degraded over the years". All of you reading this now have chosen to pursue your tertiary studies abroad. Why is this the case? Is there any truth in that statement? How can we improve Malaysia's quality of education if this is so?

In this 2nd roundtable discussion, organised by the Malaysian Aspiration Team, the topic of Education will be brought forward and dissected in an attempt to identify the shortfalls of the current system and bring forward possible solutions so that both current and future generations can profit from a higher education level.

The outcome of this discussion will be forwarded to the Malaysian Ministry of Education for review.

Come along to the Multicultural Hub this Saturday to participate in (or just have a listen to) and be inspired from the ideas that will be passed around!
