Australian Malaysian Film Festival returns in 2008!
The Objective
Our Objectives
The
idea is to feature Malaysian created content for an Australia based
audience and stimulate an artistic awareness, regional consciousness
and a collective willingness for progressive regional collaboration. In
short, we believe this event will become a strong stand alone brand
that will boost the mutual creative profiles and positioning of both
Australia and Malaysia with each other.
We want to canvas
interest for future film, television and multimedia co-production
recognising the growing bond between Malaysia and Australia, and
advance potential arts and cultural bilateral ties. The Australian Malaysian Film Festival will be held on the 15th,
16th and 17th of August 2008 at ACMI Cinemas (Australian Centre for the
Moving Image), Federation Square in Melbourne. In the
meantime, please enjoy watching our promotional video – you will be so
glad you did! We look forward to contacting you soon and seeing you

KUAM SPRING CUP IS BACK!
 We are proud to inform you that KUAM Melbourne Spring Cup 2008 Futsal will be
held on the 24th of August 2008. This year we are anticipating a bigger
crowd than previous years, therefore 16 teams are allocated for men and
5 teams for women. We encourage team captains to register immediately
as places are limited. For those who register and pay by 16th of August
2008, the tournament fee is 100AUD. For those who register later than
that, 120AUD will be charged for the tournament fee. So, hurry! Before it's too late.
Men
5 a side and max 5 subs
1 import (non-Malaysian) player allowed
Women
6 a side and max 8 subs
1 import (non-Malaysian) player allowed
Details regarding tournament rules and regulations will be posted to team captains soon.
Please find details of tournament at the poster attached.
Lastly, hope to see all of you on that day and may the best team wins.
